HSMM AECOMis
in need of aField Construction Administrator to:
Perform
daily site observations to verify conformance to the contract documents,
track RFIs and submittals, monitor schedule, attend progress meetings,
and review payment application
Adhere to accepted industry and company standards.
Be thoroughly familiar with Contract Documents of the project.
Have a working knowledge of the construction schedule.
Record and maintain the field observation log. Daily field reports
should be made to record conditions at the site (i.e., temperature,
precipitation, etc.). Contractor’s work force, equipment in
use or idle, materials or equipment delivered, quantity of pay items
placed (especially for unit price work), inspections and tests performed
(both initial and follow-up), non-conforming materials or work, instructions
to Contractor, encountered problems and their resolution, potential
claims, and a summary of construction activities.
Observations of tests. Applicants selected will be subject to a government
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for
access to classified information. Will be available at all times to
provide prompt check work and to provide a decision on acceptance
when required.
Job Requirements:
Knowledgeable of
the construction administration process. Thorough understanding and
knowledge of the construction industry, including Federal, State and
local regulations. Construction or architectural/engineering experience
with multidiscipline background. Strong oral and written communication
skills. Experienced using Outlook and Microsoft Office (or similar
software).
Familiarity with Microsoft Project, SureTrack, Contract Manager, or
similar software commonly used in the Construction Administration
field.
