RELIGIONS FOR PEACE is a growing global network that

Specific Duties will include:
- Manage all aspects of finance and compliance for
NPI project
- Assist preparation of annual budget, quarterly budget modifications,
agency revenue and expenditure reports and PS-272 for HRSA.
- Prepare advance/reimbursement vouchers, A/R reconciliations, forecast
reports and other reporting instruments to maintain financial accountability
for government and private funding agencies.
- Prepare annual financial reports and FSR reports on the project.
- Prepare all supporting documentation for the project's fiscal audits.
- Maintain ongoing labor charts to properly allocate staff time to
this project.
- Maintain expense allocation table to ensure appropriate assigning
of indirect costs.
- Prepare weekly cash flow analysis and monthly forecast reports to
maintain control of government and private grants.
- Prepare year-end schedules and analysis for the outside auditors.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this job an individual must be
able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements
listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and ability
required.
- Knowledge of and experience using Financial and
Managerial Accounting and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP).
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts including profit and loss,
balance sheets, account analysis.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with MIP fund
accounting or other not-for-profit accounting software is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced,
deadline driven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Three years of experience, with a minimum of one year grants accounting
experience;
- Experience with US Government contracts preferred.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve
and promote quality.
- BA in Accounting.
