PricewaterhouseCoopers has exciting opportunities for individuals with experience in assisting federal agencies enhance their business models! These opportunities will be in the Chesapeake, VA area and can include potential candidates from Chesapeake, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Hampton Roads and Williamsburg, VA, as well as the Washington Metro area. These opportunities involve Federal Financial Accounting Operations Functional Remediation. You will help define management strategies, improve processes that motivate, measure, and monitor a compliance-supporting culture, as well as promote effective corporate governance. You will develop deliverables and present findings and solutions to executive clients, manage project economics to deliver client solutions on time and within budget, and lead/mentor staff both formally and informally.

Job Requirements

Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA eligible, and auditing experience is a plus. Job Requirements
In depth understanding of financial accounting standards, functional processes, and prior auditing experience a plus. Ability to support financial remediation efforts including business process improvement and related training.
This project will be located in Chesapeake, VA for the next several months and a variety of projects are available in the long term in town. Candidates willing to relocate to the Chesapeake or Hampton Roads area will be considered along with candidates preferring to stay in the Washington Metro area (but open to travel per project requirements).
This position is working on projects within the federal agencies and requires US Citizenship.
