Position
Purpose:
• To assist Managing Director and Team Manager on ad-hoc issues
and providing support to Relationship Officers and Receptionists in
servicing and retaining clients to deliver agreed business goal within
the overall framework of the US, Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and
Asia Market's business strategy and operating model. This function is
intended to provide: support to Relationship Officers performing various
administrative and operational responsibilities related to servicing
their book of clients and coverage for the Receptionist during absences,
ensuring operational and administrative effectiveness among Team members.
This position is aligned with RBC’s Clients First initiative.
Key
Accountabilities:
• Assists Managing Director and Team Manager on the implementation,
coordination and completion of all projects on time, within budget
and the established scope.
• Supports Managing Director and Team Manager with the preparation
for meetings and committees, including: drawing presentations and
spreadsheets, organizing information received from Senior Managers,
Relationship Managers and Relationship Officers, liaising with products
areas and other RBC partners in obtaining necessary information to
complete task.
• Supports Managing Director and Team Manager controlling and
maintaining reports of overall information on documentation issues,
projects, metrics and error logs.
• Provides back-up to receptionist during lunch hour, vacation
and unexpected absences (see Receptionist General Guidelines).
• Assists and provides back-up to Relationship Officers in administration
and maintenance of client relationships, including: reviewing files,
updating documentation, conducting search for KYC purposes, preparing
business letters, drawing client’s presentations, processing
wire transfers and loans, renewing TDs and reviewing Assist exceptions.
• Acts as liaison between Relationship Officers’ and product
specialists areas, such as: Investment Management, Credit and Fiduciary
to ensure processing and completion of services.
• Assists Relationship Officers handling incoming and outgoing
correspondence, including regular mail, faxes and couriers, as well
as handling client’s incoming calls and local visits to the
office.
Job Requirements:
(Knowledge/ Experience):
- Understand systemic workflow inherent to inter-department streamlined
activities, such as: cut off time to deliver a job; reporting lines,
authority matrixes.
- Knowledge of Outlook, internet search engines, MS Office
