Job Description:
Participates in developing strategies in support of
Harris’ position, performing complex analyses as key member
of pursuit and proposal teams.
Develops, negotiates and administers contracts while monitoring compliance
with government regulations.
Interacts directly with customers and senior management personnel.
Leads/manages major efforts such as proposals from a contracts perspective,
including RFP review and coordinating with all involved functions.
Leads all aspects of contract process including; change management,
invoice payments, on-time deliveries and contract close-out.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years
of related experience is required; Master’s degree (MBA or Acquisition
Management) with a minimum of 4 years related experience is desired.
Procurement regulations (FAR, DFAR) with a solid understanding of
contract practices and procedures.
Additional Preferred Requirements:
Related experience includes negotiating, drafting
and administering complex contracts.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven ability
to work well in a team environment.
The ability to execute in a leadership position and develop solutions
to complex problems, relying on business and contracting knowledge.
Proactive in influencing events in a team environment. Must be a self-starter
with strong organizational and computer skills.
Knowledge of ITAR a plus.
The ability to obtain a security clearance.
