The Clinical Education
Specialist acts as a role model and change agent, develops the bedside
nurse, fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence
through the delivery of research based, cost effective nursing care.
Our client's organization encourages variations in the CES practice
to meet the needs of the diverse units and the global needs of the
organization. The CES is responsible for creating a professional nursing
climate within the organization. The CES is an interdisciplinary team
member responsible for working collaboratively with Patient Care Services
Nursing Educators in supporting house wide education programs as needed
and competent to do so. The Clinical Education Specialist is considered
a integral part of the departmental leadership team and may be asked
to assume leadership oversight responsibilities as necessary for departmental
benefit.
