Basic
Purpose:
This position
completes insurance applications via telephone for a single client
company.
(Wednesday or
Thursdays off during the week) for 4-6 weeks then home
Required Equipment:
# DSL/Cable connection speed 1.0 Mbit down/256 Kb upload speed minimum
o (Cannot be through aWiFi internet connection or satellite provider.)
# Home telephone line with local Kansas City area number
o Note: the position requires the applicant to reside in the Kansas
City metro area

Principal
Duties & Responsibilities:
# Complete interviews
with insurance applicants via telephone. These interviews will include
gathering medical, financial, occupational, and avocation histories.
Review and edit information collected during the interview for quality
assurance purposes.
# Manage the C4 Call Management System by making telephone calls,
logging call attempts, documenting information within orders as necessary
and recording call results.
# Responds to the needs and requests of clients and Quest Diagnostics
management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.
# Observes all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures
as outlined in the Quest Diagnostics Safety Manual or safety matters
included in other special training.
Knowledge
& Experience:
# High School Diploma or Equivalent required, some college courses
preferred.

# Ability to type 30 wpm
# Strong communication skills

# Proficient teamwork skills

# Organizational skills
