INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN
Requirements include:
• Knowledge of and troubleshooting capabilities
with Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot issues
relating to laser printers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PC troubleshooting
including re-imaging.
• Knowledge of and troubleshooting capabilities
with Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and wireless infrastructure.
• Knowledge of and troubleshooting capabilities
with Access databases.
• General knowledge of PBX phone systems (Inter-Tel
preferred).
• General knowledge of Novell (6.5 preferred).
• General knowledge of Windows 2003 Server.
• 1-3 years of experience with assisting users
and employees with information technology issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
and manage projects with little supervision.
The position is not limited to the list above and
employee may be required to take on additional responsibilities as
needed.
Responbilities:
• Respond to employee assistance requests, ranging
from desktop issues to requests dealing with internet connectivity
and networking.
• Ability to quickly and efficiently prioritize
requests by employees for assistance.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects
with little supervision.
• Install and configure computer hardware with
Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
• Research appropriate diagnostic tools to provide
troubleshooting support.
• Provide user assistance with Microsoft Office
(including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). ADVANCED MICROSOFT
OFFICE SKILLS A PLUS.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
and sound judgment.
