THE OREGON
PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION (PUC) invites you to apply your expertise
and experience to lead and coordinate the Telecommunications group's
responsibilities in two main areas: federal universal service support
programs and carrier interconnection. The successful candidate will
develop, implement, and monitor compliance with agency policies in these
areas, as well as conduct independent analyses of complex, controversial
telecommunications issues. The position offers the opportunity to interact
with telecommunications providers and the public, and to serve as an
expert witness in contested proceedings. In

TO QUALIFY
You must have:
A Bachelor's degree
in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Accounting (or for this recruitment
only, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Major
in Finance/Accounting.) AND
Four years of
professional-level work experience in engineering, economic analysis,
finance, accounting or auditing. -OR-
Seven years of work experience in any of the above fields; four of
which must have been at the professional level.
