This position is
responsible for the design, operation and improvement of Clearwire's
internal telecommunication networks, products and infrastructure. This
person will work closely with the customer care and other Information
Technology teams to meet aggressive deployment and performance objectives
for rapid implementation, system uptime and performance metrics of our
infrastructure. This position requires a highly motivated individual
comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment who is passionate
about delivery. The successful candidate will customer oriented, results
driven (i.e. metrics oriented) and passionate about building a cost
efficient and flexible telecommunications infrastructure. Requirements:
# Lead the design,
architecture and implementation efforts for our telecommunications
infrastructure. This includes management of our internal voice and
data networks that support critical back office functions
# Work closely with key internal customers to deliver solutions on
a timely basis and in a quality manner
# Ensure corporate telecommunication infrastructure, network and phone
systems meet acceptable uptime, performance and capacity requirements
# Instrument systems and networks and infrastructure so we can share
data about their operation on a regular and frequent basis
# Ensure our network and infrastructure is properly designed, configured,
to support rapid growth in customer capacity and can evolve to meet
rapidly changing business requirements
# Manage vendors and contractors to get great value
Qualifications:
# Organized in
their approach and execution, but not requiring bureaucracy or over
formality - substance is more critical than form
# Ability to efficiently orchestrate and drive timely vendor escalations
as required
# Drive to do what ever it takes to make sure their systems and team
meet the needs of our customers
# Flexibility - ability to adapt to rapid changes in direction is
crucial
# Teamwork - ability to work effectively and build the relationships
with both the IT and Care leadership teams
# Work ethic - willingness and enthusiasm to work non-standard hours
as needed to get the job done and to meet the needs of our customers
# Ability to learn new things quickly and inquisitive enough to challenge
what does not make sense

# Demonstrated track record for solution delivery and cost reduction
