The IB
North American regional office of International Baccalaureate is looking
for an:
ICT Assistant
Salary USD $33,000 - $38,000
The ICT Assistant
will assist in the resolution of regional ICT technical incidents
and problems raised by IB staff located in the New York office ensuring
the delivery of an effective and reliable ICT service. The ICT Assistant
will report directly to the Regional ICT Manager and the ICT Support
Desk Manager in Headquarters.
The ICT
Assistant is responsible for:
• Assist
in the resolution of ICT technical support to the NY staff
• Documenting all incident resolution actions accurately
• Installation and maintenance of PC, cabling and telecommunications
hardware components and client software to ensure best equipment and
application facilitating for staff
• Checking ICT system regularly and documenting checks in order
to minimize system unavailability
• Deliver ICT induction to new NY staff during orientation
• Assist ICT Manager in administrative duties as requested
Requirements:
• Associate’s
degree or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and
training that would provide the level of knowledge and ability required
for the position.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as
organizational skills
• Proven ability of analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
