What Financial Planning
& Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for Providing financial
analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
What is expected of you
for success in your role
Demonstrates working knowledge of financial statements and analytical
techniques
Assesses accuracy of data based on comparisons to budgets and/or forecasts
Creates simple forecasting and financial models
Prepares and analyzes basic monthly actuals to budget/forecast variances
Researches variances to understand business trends
Explains own analyses and forms conclusions
Responsible for identifying financial opportunity associated with
each of the value metrics for Integrated Medication Solutions.
Responsible for enhancing
revenue capture and customer value by helping clients realize the
opportunity that is identified.
Responsible for analyzing Pyxis dispensing data and Alaris CQI data
to establish benchmarks and determine optimization opportunities per
protocol.
Responsible for monitoring and analyzing clinical data to identify
financial savings opportunities.
Responsible for creating
solutions to continuously improve the analytical process for delivery
(breath and depth) of each of the Medication Solution value metrics.
Responsible for providing
subject matter expertise in the operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical
manufacturer performance programs.
Perform data analysis to
evaluate financial performance and determine financial opportunity.
Perform financial modeling
given various scenarios using manufacturer performance program criteria,
and actual and theoretical performance to estimate savings.
Perform client assessments
by evaluating client purchasing and dispensing data to determine potential
financial opportunities.
Establish initial baseline
values; track and report monthly progress to baseline findings.
Perform ongoing financial
opportunity analysis.
Communicate approved recommended actions with IMS (Integrated Medication
Solution) personnel
and client
