Medical Transcription Services
Job Description:
Supervise daily department activities for Medical Transcription Services
in Southeast Wisconsin to include the Milwaukee and Racine areas.
Supervises all assigned staff to ensure the department
is able to meet its goals, including performing department activities
within budgeted staff levels and expenses, meeting department productivity
levels, organizing and streamlining job functions to meet JCAHO, hospital,
and corporate goals and standards, ensures production of accurate
medical reports for quality patient care, meeting medical staff requirements
for report turnaround time, while providing a supportive, caring environment
for employees.
Provides leadership to associates across sites.
This position is the LEAD in the Department.
Performs quality auditing and education for Southeast
Wisconsin and Iowa Transcription areas.
Performs education and training for Southeast Wisconsin
associates.
This position is based on site, in Milwaukee.
Hours per Shift: 8

and across department lines.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with time
constraints.
Ability to prioritize workload and maximize time utilization.
Knowledge of dictation and transcription systems.
Knowledge of computers, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to travel infrequently across facilities and sites, including
Racine, as needed.
Ability to flex schedule and shifts to meet department needs.
Ability to provide weekend leadership rotation, on site in Milwaukee
