Qualifications
Prior defined
benefit related work experience 5 + years
Strong technical expertise in plan administration for tax qualified
defined benefit plans
Working knowledge of applicable pension legislation and regulations
(ERISA, etc.)
Professional, client-focused approach to colleagues and assignments
Ability to work on several projects concurrently
Willingness to work overtime when necessary (peak busy periods and
important client deadlines)
Positive outlook, productive, and self-motivated
Ability to successfully work in a team environment
Seeks out experiences that may change perspective or provide opportunity
to learn new things
Excellent oral and written communication skills with customer service
focus
Proficient in use of Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
Responsibilities
Supervise and
participate in plan administration and compliance tasks such as completing
benefit calculations, reviewing plan documents, producing benefit
statements and assisting with implementation of pension administration
systems
Overall responsibility
for client satisfaction of plan administration services on specified
accounts
Ensuring quality work is completed within agreed to service standard
timeframes and fee arrangements
Looking for trends that may affect the delivery of plan administration
services
Ensuring client is properly introduced to all plan administration
services and capabilities
Providing solutions that are customized to the client's need(s)
