We currently seeking
to fill a full-time Medical Assistant position starting January 26,
2009. Our office is located on Solano Ave. in Albany.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Obtaining patient vital signs
* Rooming patients
* Administering vaccinations/injections
* Assist physicians with minor procedures and other duties as needed
* Patient education
* Peform EKGs, spirometry, ear washes, nebulizer treatments and more
* Call/fax pharmacies with prescriptions
* Instrument sterilization
* Lab procedures: UA, rapid strep test, hemoccults, EPT.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of one year of medical practice experience required
* Ability to administer injections
* Be familiar with medical terminology
* Excellent communication skills
* General computer skills
