Job Description MEDICAL
BILLING A/R CLERK
Looking for an
A/R candidate with 3-4 years Anesthesiology or Surgery billing experience.
Will maintain A/R accounts, troubleshoot, research, and resubmit denials
after corrections. Person would be responsible for looking at what
the health insurance company paid, what portion the patient is responsible
for, contesting insurance denials, and verifying contractual write-off
amounts. Will be calling insurance companies and resolving outstanding
claims for payment. Really have to understand health insurance such
as contracts, deductibles, co-insurance s. co-payments, and the general
medical billing process. Company uses PPM Software system.
Job Requirements
-HS Diploma or equivalent
