The Associate Dean will manage daily operations of the Office of International Education: study abroad, international student and scholar services, programs, and publications. The Associate Dean will assist in the implementation of the institutional Strategic Plan for Internationalization.
Oversee daily operations of the Office of International Education, including study abroad, international student and scholar services, programs and publications.
Maintain and develop ongoing collaboration with faculty of all schools and departments relating to study abroad, credit transfer, international student admissions, and financial aid.
Support the Faculty Seminar Abroad.
Advise students and faculty on external funding opportunities such as the Fulbright, Rotary International, NSEP and others.
Develop new sources of external funding.
Develop community relationships and cooperation.
Assist in the development of the International Center.

Job Requirements

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse populations of faculty, staff, students and parents.
Experience of living and/or working abroad.
Proficiency in a second language.
Excellent communication and analytical skills, oral and written.
Evidence of creativity in various work environments.
General familiarity and some proficiency in computer technology applications in international education.
Education Requirements:

A PhD or terminal degree in relevant field preferred
