Description
Accurate Staffing is seeking skilled Line Leaders
to work in Copacking operation of global leader in snack manufacturing
Essential Functions of the job include but are not limited
to the following:
Responsible for safety, quality, production, housekeeping
Ensure proper crewing in place
Check with supervisor/staffing
managers for schedule changes and absentees
Check with
previous Line Leader and ask about any problems/challenges
Check machine speeds, weights, package seal and code date, and case
seal and code dates on cases.
Check quality of cookies.
Check housekeeping,
including machinery materials, scrap, and trash.
Check weights, seal and code date
Direct and strive for smooth line operations when
assigning specific duties, relieving for breaks, calling for skips
to run up product, etc.
Keep check on quality, housekeeping, and case count.
Report all problems (product, people, machine, etc.) immediately to
the supervisor.
Utilize your time and people wisely. Work effectively and efficiently.
Keep in mind safety, housekeeping, quality and efficiency.
16. Communicate with your people.
17. Leave work area clean for the incoming shift, making certain everything
is in its place. Record all case counts and report them to the Supervisor.
18. Report any unsafe work condition to Supervisor.
19. Follow startup operating procedures and changeover procedure.
20. Required to have GWP (General Work Practice).
21. Any other dues may be assigned by your Supervisor.
22. Know how to conduct all changeovers on Baggers.
23. Collect all equipment at end of shift. (code date blocks, brooms,
etc.)
This is an Accurate contract position available on
1st and 3rd shift. Flexibility is needed to assist other line leaders.
Computer experience is required - SAP experience is
beneficial.
