Analyst - Operations and reporting
The
Microsoft Entertainment Division finance team is looking for someone
with drive and determination to take on a role as a Financial Analyst
supporting Microsoft TV for their operations and reporting WW. Microsoft
TV is an explosive growth business in the emerging digital TV market.
This job provides a unique opportunity to have in-depth visibility
of an end-to-end business and direct impact by providing valuable
metric reporting, operations excellence, and insight on business results.
The position is focused on supporting the operations organizations
and sales organizations and providing operational, process management
and financial analysis support.
Responsibilities
include:
Partner closely with regional operations and sales management and
provide process and operations support. Knowledge of MS custom financial
and business systems is a major plus.
Support customer invoicing, and A/R
Drive quarterly reporting forecasting and regular reporting processes
(Management Scorecards and Dashboard).
Support on any ad hoc project analysis & reporting
Implement and automate any financial processes and drive financial
disciplines using best practices to reduce inefficiencies
Qualifications:
Strong background applying spreadsheet skills to analyze large amounts
of data and perform analysis
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills and
outstanding customer service orientation;
Must be a high energy, ambitious, self-starter with the ability to
multi-task and effectively manage priorities;
BA/BS in Finance or Accounting is required;
Industry knowledge in High-Tech and Software space desired.
