Public Health Education
Specialist - Beaufort County Health Department. Responsible for the
HIV/AIDS Prevention Program. Duties include developing, coordinating,
& evaluating partnerships with other organizations, community outreach
efforts, & science-based HIV/STD interventions that are vital in
reducing risk behaviors and the number of new HIV/STD infection cases.
Graduation from a four-yr college or university with a major in health
education and one year experience in public health education or related
field; or graduation from a four-year college or university and two
years experience in public health education; or an equivalent combination
of education & experience. Hiring Salary $30,430-$37,279. Mon.-Fri.
8:00-5:00pm. NC State application (PD107) to Beaufort County Health
Department, 146 Highland Drive, Washington, NC 27889. Open Until Filled.
Pre- employment drug screening. EOE.
