What are the job responsibilities? In the primary role of the Financial
Reporting Accountant, the applicant would be responsible for the creation
of financial statements from trial balances, analysis and reconciliation
of financial data to generate Semi-Annual and Annual Reports and assistance
in completion of various SEC filings. Information will also be provided
to other departments as needed to complete Prospectuses, Statements
of Additional Information and Pro-Forma Financial Statements. Additional
skills include but not limited to: strong PC skills that would utilize
Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Who is our ideal candidate? Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of one year of experience
in creating financial statements. Mutual Fund or Financial Services
industry experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be detail
oriented, have strong communication and organizational skills with
the ability to function in a very fast paced, tight deadline environment.
