Ledgent Staffing
is helping a healthcare organization in the Meriden-Wallingford area
with a Temp-to-Hire Medical Billing opening. Our client’s is
seeking a reliable professional to join their team. This position
will start on a temporary basis with the potential to be hired. If
you meet the qualifications listed below we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities
are as follow
* Handle high
volume patient/customer phone inquiries concerning bills, payments,
and patient pricing.
* Process adjustments, refunds, mail returns and manual sales.
* Research accounts receivable and consult with insurance companies
to institute settlement of accounts.
* Conduct follow up activities to ensure payment is collected.
Job Requirements
* Strong knowledge
of medical billing processes and principles.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task
* Have the ability to maintain accurate records.
