Job Description
CALL CENTER/ CUSTOMER SERVICE for the Medical Industry
Customer help call center experience necessary, medical background,
Long Term Care heavitly preferred
CLAIMS SUPPORT/PROCESSOR - Long Term Care
•Knowledge
of Long Term Care insurance, knowledge of Home Health Services and
nursing home admits, above average customer service/phone skills,
computer skills, research skills, etc.
•
JOB SUMMARY: Assist team in processing existing LTC (Long
Term Care includes Nursing Home, Assisted Living, Adult Day Care and
Home Health Care) claims as well as providing team support. Ability
to interpret contract benefits in accordance with specific claims
processing guidelines. Receive, organize and make daily use of information
regarding benefits, and contract coverage, through verbal or written
correspondence in a professional and reliable manner.

Requirements
• Team centered with excellent work ethic and reliability required.
• Ability to assist team in various clerical and claim support
matters.
• Medical terminology a plus, insurance experience a must.
• Previous experience in Home Health industry (CNA, HHA, RN,
LPN) a plus.
• Previous LTC claims adjudication experience a plus.
• Must have above average phone skills.
• Must have organizational and decision making skills.
• Ability to work independently and exhibit flexibility in performing
multiple functions.
• Ability to calculate figures accurately.
• Clear understanding of the policy benefits and procedures
within the Claims unit.
• Must be able to manage time effectively with written correspondence,
faxes, and referrals from other departments in order to comply with
service guarantees.
• Exhibit flexibility in performing multiple functions
• Good PC application skills (Word + Excel + MS Office), good
keystrokes
