Description
Classification: Full Time
Compensation:
$50000 to $55000 per year
Our client, a
large financial services firm, is looking for a level III staff accountant
to be a part of their team. This group is growing and this position
will not be open for long. Performs moderately complex activities
associated with maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial
statements and reports.
Duties
may include:
preparing financial and regulatory reports; reviewing data from the
general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure
accuracy reviewing entries for reporting system; gathering and reviewing
financial data for financial and regulatory reports; preparing and
reviewing account reconciliations and certifications; performing a
variety of analysis or projects relating to financial accounting procedures,
methods or systems. Provides functional advice or training to lower
accounting positions.

Job Requirements
Work history from public accounting or financial services/insurance
A degree in accounting
The ability to learn.
A desire to grow with in a large organization
