Position Summary:
* Citrix Server Administration - any virtualization,
desktop, XenServer or XenApps a huge plus.
• Supervise and operate the organization’s
terminal service systems, networks, and applications. This includes
installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining company's
investments in terminal service technologies. Also responsible for
planning and coordinating the implementation and support of the terminal
service products necessary for business operations. Will apply proven
skills to solve issues related to the deployment of mission-critical
terminal service software. Will act as alternate contact for Branch
Technology administration.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Implement terminal services by installing,
configuring and enhancing software and applications throughout the
enterprise.
• Ensure that any terminal service integration into company
systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface
specifications.
• Collaborate with managers, developers and other administrators
in the evaluation and testing of terminal service programs and applications.
• Perform daily monitoring of terminal services, including performance,
availability and usage, providing periodic reporting.
• Maintain assigned systems by identifying and resolving problems
affecting the terminal services infrastructure in a timely manner.
• Administer terminal services by adding, moving and/or changing
user accounts, permissions and access rights, including remote server
access.
• Document and maintain procedures and associated training resources
for terminal service administration and appropriate use.
