Description
Gannett Co., Inc. seeks experienced, outstanding Customer Service Representatives
for Full and Part Time career opportunities to work out of our expanding
Tulsa Circulation Inbound Call Center of Excellence (COE). These
positions will be between 20 - 40 hours per week. Full Time positions
are currently available and those interested must be willing to work
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Available positions could require
weekend shifts of a minimum of four hours between 6 am and 2 pm and
week day hours between 5 am to 8 pm. Applicants will be required to
attend a 1 week training, Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm.
Duties
include:
The Customer Service Representative
is responsible for assisting internal and external customers in a
courteous and professional manner in the Gannett Circulation Department’s
first Center of Excellence (COE):
• Provide customer service and information to assist customers
with purchasing decisions for options such as upgrades and EZ Pay
conversions, meeting the goals determined.
• Assist current and potential subscribers by providing information
needed to make a purchasing decision, including the promotion of current
sales programs or other initiatives such as EZ Pay or upgrade opportunities.
• Solicit donations to or sell the following programs: Newspapers
in Education donations, Newspapers provided to Nursing Home donations,
Vacation Paks and other programs as assigned.
• Improve subscriber retention through various Stopsaver programs
including current sales programs/special offers while fostering a
relationship between the customer and newspaper.
• Work with Supervisor to gain a thorough understanding of the
products supported by COE.
• Accurately enter subscriber and carrier data, updating information
as necessary (e.g., address changes, gathering e-mail addresses, subscription
payments, complaints, starts, stops, vacation pack and donation requests).
• Follow-up with subscribers and carriers by calling them to
ensure resolution of concern or request.
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Prefer a year customer
service/inbound call center or retail experience at a single employer.
Must have steady work history.
College coursework preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
Ability to coordinate several tasks simultaneously.
Proficient knowledge/ability with Microsoft Office applications, windows
and internet.
Excellent customer service, telephone and computer skills required.
