REQUIREMENTS:
Thorough understanding of health insurance and billing process
Coding certification desired, but not required
Personable, confident, articulate, detail oriented, thoughtful and calm
personality a must
Able to effectively communicate with medical staff, physicians and patients
Typing 60-70 wpm and 10-key proficiency (ten-key and typing skills test
will be administered)
Experience with medical billing software and electronic claims submission
Excellent telephone skills
Knowledge of Medicare Essential
Knowledge and experience of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery desired
