Summary: The Maintenance Development Lead will assist
the IFS Curriculum Cell Chief with matters related to Instructional
System Design (also known as Systems Approach to Training) for the
IqAF Flight Training School maintenance repairer and technician Programs
of Instruction (POI). The Maintenance Development Lead directs the
efforts of individuals assigned to work on Maintenance POIs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists IFS Curriculum Cell Chief in designing, developing,
implementing, analyzing, and evaluating various aviation maintenance
programs of instruction.
Assists IFS Curriculum Cell Chief by being knowledgeable
of changing US Army, OEM, and host nation maintenance procedures and
practices.
Assists IFS Curriculum Cell Chief by communicating
with appropriate IFS Team members by verbal, email, and written means.
Maintenance Development Lead must have excellent abilities in communicating
through written word and in personal communication skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Maintenance Development Lead is responsible for coordinating
tasks and timelines within the Maintenance Training Development Unit.

Aviation Maintenance background highly preferred. AMOC graduates,
with aviation maintenance, production control, quality control a plus.
Instructional development experience is necessary. Must possess strong
computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business
software packages which include Microsoft Word, Excel, particularly
PowerPoint; MS Project experience is a plus.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in an aviation related
curriculum is desired
Associate?s degree with 7+ years of aviation maintenance management
or training experience.
Extensive military aviation maintenance experience is required.
Extensive military aviation instructor experience (flight or academic)
is required.
