Description:

The Healthcare IT Sales Executive is responsible for business planning and sales execution. The incumbent must develop and maintain strategic executive level relationships with major accounts, and manage consistent business practices that will increase sales efficiencies and develop a market for other clients. The Healthcare IT Sales Executive will be responsible for monitoring the status of ongoing projects, communicating project status to customer management. The Healthcare IT Sales Executive is responsible for ensuring that the services delivered by Emerging Health IT meet or exceed customer expectations. The Healthcare IT Sales Executive monitors customer satisfaction and will work with customers to identify solutions for business issues and problems.
Other areas of responsibility are:
• Achieve revenue goal for hardware, software and services.
• Achieve profit contribution and product mix.
• Develop and execute the coverage model.
• Manage multiple selling functions Internal/External Impact (key working relationships).
• Interact with senior staff at partner organizations to work on common customer issues and multi-vendor strategies.
• Monitor service delivery and project status.
• Review and analyze profit and loss of client engagements and plan client budgets. Create improvement initiatives where required.
• Provide client engagement scorecards on a regular basis to identify areas of success or improvement needed.
• Provide accurate forecasting.
• Provide customer dashboard for financial purposes and project tracking.
• Interact with customer leadership on frequent basis to assist with identifying solutions to business problems and ensure satisfaction with Emerging Health IT project and service delivery.
• Demonstrate ability to navigate the client organization in a politically effective manner.

Requirements:

• BA/BS is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of healthcare sales/consulting experience is required.
• Previous experience selling multi-year/multi-million dollar projects at the CXO level required.
• Proven skills in attaining sales objectives.
• Technology consulting or IT Professional Services experience required.
• Knowledge of clinical and/or financial systems and requirements analysis is necessary.
• Systems implementations in the clinical and/or financial application areas are required.
• Solid understanding of formal project management methodologies is required.
• Must possess broad IT experience in the Health Care industry.
• Must have a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and approach.
• Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills are required.
