The focus of this position has the responsibility
for developing/maintaining a wide customer base for products - Caustic
Soda and Chlorine sales, as well as developing relationships to partner
with the company.
In addition, the position is responsible for obtaining
the highest net-backs available in the marketplace while moving product
in consistent and uniform manner. This position will responsible for
the SE/Gulf Coast region of the US.
Requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Sale of Caustic Soda and Chlorine to internal and
external sources.
* Develop relationships with potential Chlor-Alkali customers.
* Maintain pricing levels in the territory that reflects current market
conditions.
* Maintain up to date records of customer calls and pricing levels.
* Keep customers informed of market changes.
* Communicate changes in customer pricing and other activities to
Customer Service in a timely manner.
* Provide annual and monthly forecast of customer requirements.
* Interact with other departments to remain abreast of current operating
conditions (both internal/external) so that the company can be a knowledgeable
supplier.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* BS degree in business, marketing or related technical
discipline preferable.
* Progressive sales experience acceptable to management.
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with sales/marketing in caustic chemical industry preferred.
* Candidate is not required to live close to manufacturing/operations.
