We are seeking
a permanent Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to be based
at our offices in Venice, CA (West Los Angeles). The Accounting Manager
will be responsible for executing all general accounting functions
(e.g. A/R, A/P, general ledger, payroll and financial analysis/reporting).
The Accounting Manager will share support from an administrative assistant.
The position is
FULL-TIME, and requires dedication. The Accounting Manager must be
comfortable working in the entrepreneurial environment of a growing,
fast-paced healthcare management services company. He/she must be
a fast learner, proactive on projects, demonstrate personal initiative
and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Operations
Manage customer
billing process.
Direct treasury, A/R, A/P and payroll functions.
Accounting
General ledger
activities and bank reconciliation.
Manage timely month-end close process.
Financial Reporting
Preparation of
accounts analysis and financial reports.
Prepare external reporting requirements (taxes, lender/collateral
reports, etc.).
Coordinate audit process with external auditors.
Qualifications
/ Requirements
Extensive experience
with GAAP, G/L accounting, financial reporting and budgeting.
Highly proficient with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related is major
plus.
Compensation / Contact
$40,000 annually,
