Medix Staffing
Solutions, Inc. is a National Healthcare Staffing Company that recruits
skilled personnel for virtually all segments of the Healthcare and
Insurance industries. We have earned our reputation as an industry
leader by providing unsurpassed customer service and top quality professionals
to our clients across the country.
We are seeking
experienced medical collectors and a/r reps who will be responsible
for the timely collection of patient account balances and insurance
follow up. This person will also maintain accounts receivable and
reduce bad debt, provide Signature Customer Service to all internal
and external customers, and handle inbound/outbound collection calls
to patients for payment.
Ideal experience
can include full-cycle medical billing beginning with payment or cash
posting, knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes, exposure to Medicare or
Medicaid and commercial insurances, processing claims, primary, secondary
claims, appeals and denials, insurance follow-up, patient follow-up,
and aged accounts recievable.
Job Requirements
A good understanding
of the Medical Billing Process
Strong Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Experience working with EOB's
Excellent Communication and Written Skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word Programs
Must be professional
Must have good typing skills
