Job description
Duties:
Managing a portfolio of vendors
Paying all vendor invoices
Handling vendor correspondence
Working aged invoices/receipts
Building and maintaining relationships with buyers and vendors
Participating with the AP team in improving the efficiency and accuracy
of accounts payable processing
Job Requirements
Successful Candidate Requirements:
Strong and effective
analytical and organizational skills as well as verbal communication
skills
Proven ability to organize and manage data
Highly resourceful, motivated and able to work independently, handling
multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Education:
Bachelors in Accounting/Finance preferred
Familiar with a Windows environment (i.e. MS Office)
Dick's Sporting
Goods, Inc. is an authentic full-line sporting goods retailer offering
a broad assortment of brand name sporting goods equipment, apparel,
and footwear in a specialty store environment. As of August 25, 2008,
the Company operated 359 Dick's Sporting Goods stores in 38 states
primarily throughout the eastern half of the U.S. The Company also
owns Golf Galaxy, a multi-channel golf specialty retailer, with 79
stores in 29 states, ecommerce websites and catalog operations and
Chick's Sporting Goods which operates 15 specialty sporting goods
stores in Southern California.
