Franciscan Health System is a comprehensive health care organization that includes St. Joseph Medical Center of Tacoma; St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood; St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way; Enumclaw Regional Hospital that serves communities in Southeast King and Northeast Pierce counties; and Franciscan Hospice House in University Place.

Construction of St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor is planned to begin in mid-2007. The new, 80-bed hospital will open in early 2009 to serve residents of Gig Harbor, Key Peninsula and South Kitsap County. Job Description
Job Summary: This position provides clerical support based on knowledge of functional or department procedures. Essential Duties:
Performs a variety of routine clerical functions including, typing, filing, answering phones and distributing mail, as assigned.
Enters, retrieves and verifies information from computer.
May compose routine correspondence and compile routine reports.
Organize and maintain files.
Answer questions concerning work unit procedures.
Assists in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.

Job Requirements

Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
One year of general clerical experience; preferably in a clinic setting.
License/Certification:
None Required
