Skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
• Technical problem solving abilities.
• Competent PC skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and
Visio.
• Intermediate knowledge of Access databases and Auto CAD.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Must possess a high level of personal and professional accountability
and be able to enlist the cooperation of interdepartmental groups
involved in common business goals and objectives.
• Ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently
changing priorities.
• Superior written and oral communication skills are required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently
and be team oriented.
This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control
Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
• Assigned duties are accomplished primarily in an office/production
setting. Must be able to maneuver around an office/production setting,
work at a desk/work station and respond to written and oral cues.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other
necessary office/production equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops and maintains manufacturing facility
with cost effective manufacturing standards, methods, processes and
procedures to provide optimal manufacturing productivity.
• Provides assembly and process instructions supported by required
fixturing and manufacturing methods.
• Provides documentation and training of modifications and improvements.
• Identifies, tracks and resolves manufacturing problems.
• Facilitates training for new and existing product assembly.
• Identifies cost reduction possibilities in existing and new
products.
• Develops documentation and training for assembly procedures
and process procedures.
• Ensures the required equipment, tools, test equipment and
inventory of prototype parts and components.
• Participates fully in company health and safety programs and
complies with all company OSHA policies and procedures.
• Follows all lawful employer safety and health rules.
• Wears and/or uses Personal Protective Equipment, when and
how instructed.
• Reports hazardous conditions to management.
• Reports any job-related injury or illness to management, and
seeks treatment promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
