Exciting opportunity for a Billing Specialist with
2+ years of Medical Coding and Medical Collections experience. The
Billing Specialist position requires an understanding of consumer
and commercial credit and collections policies, procedures and best
practices; financial transaction processing; knowledge of basic accounting
procedures and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include
reviewing and evaluating the status of customer accounts, contacting
customers for payment of past due invoices, and resolving conflicts
such as duplicate invoices, incorrect credit card information, pricing
and other discrepancies that delay payment. Attention to detail and
excellent follow through skills are expected.
