Job Description
INTERNATIONAL TRADING COMPANY NYC/LONDON
My client looks
to hire an Information Security officer right away. They are an International
company that needs an Information Security Associate to be the U.S.
lead for information security. This position reports to the Global
Vice President. In this role you are required to take over security
and compliance reviews. Working at a previous global finance company
is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Information
Technology Officer to implement and monitor the IT security and Privacy
environment. This candidate should know how to perform risk assessments
and have experience with audit standards such as 27001 as well as
hands on operational security skills.
All IT Security
candidates who apply should have knowledge of Cisco, Microsoft, and
linux qualifications. Experience in detailed technical security reviews
or technical audit. Database security including oracle and sybase
as well as doing attack and penetration testing as well as application
testing.
To qualify It Security candidates must have a bachelor's in information
systems or related fields from a high ranked school. A minimum of
4 years in an IT security position. Skills that will be needed include
strong written and verbal communication. You will have excellent leadership
skills as well as being a team player. This position requires that
you will be supervising others All certifications are greatly desired
(CISM, CISSP, GSEC, CISCO). Also required Technical Knowledge and
Skills include 3 years of windows 2000, 2003, Linux, Unix. Experience
with programming languages such as Java, C, C++, C# and .net are all
