Responsibility
As an Interactive
Designer, you will create engaging, interactive Flash presentations
that interact with and showcase editorial projects on sacbee.com.
You'll create interactive games and quizzes to engage users on our
web sites. In addition, you will develop Flash-based front-ends to
dynamic (MySQL dataabse) backends. This role will serve as the company's
Flash expert, creating new interactive pieces, integrating with back-end
databases using PHP, and assisting non-Flash designers in getting
up to speed with the technology.
Requirements
Qualifications
We require a history
of professional experience producing outstanding design, creating
dynamic online interactivity and strong working knowledge of web technologies.
This role requires expertise in Flash and knowledge of PHP, and a
strong knowledge of ActionScript. A Bachelor's degree in Design or
equivalent work experience is preferred. You must be able to create
new as well as supplemental existing and provided designs and possess
a keen attention to detail. The ability to thrive in a collaborative
environment and display excellent oral and written communication skills
is critical.
