an opening for a per diem Medical Laboratory Assistant 2 for our Chemistry
Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: receive,
sort and process speciments for routine analyses. Assist MLA2/CLS
with specimens' handling, archiving, and centrifuging. Organize and
prepare reference testing for scheduled pickup. General lab upkeep.
We prefer previous laboratory experience with good
organizational skills. HS diploma with College preferred with a biology
or scientific emphasis. Good organizational skills and effective communication
skills with strong computer ability essential for success. Good oral/written
communication skills required.

Experience:
Previous laboratory experience preferred. A general understanding
of laboratory workflow and testing essential. Good organizational
skills.
