JOB DESCRIPTION
My client is in
need of a Senior Windows Systems Engineer that has been working as
a Systems Engineer for 5+ years. This position is a consulting project
that has the definite potential to go to a permanent position. The
Systems Engineer should be able to come in to the environment and
be able to work on existing projects and provide feedback for future
projects. Disaster recovery planning, server configurations and builds,
hardware purchases are all involved with this project.

Job Requirements Skill sets required:
•Able to
manage MS Server/Exchange 2000/2003/2007/2008 environments
•Experience with IIS, Sharepoint and MS SQL Server
•Strong understanding of Linux (Redhat, Debian) Tomcat and Apache
servers a definite plus
•DNS server builds
•MS Server buildouts, configuration and support
•Solid understand of DHCP and networking protocols
•Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and devices
Skill
sets requested:
•Knowledge of Blackberry Enterprise Server
•Cisco Router/Switch configurations
•PIX Firewalls
•MS Project
Certifications
a plus:
•MCSE
•CCNA
