South King County area for over 30 years. Responsibilities
for Medical Insurance Biller:
* Duties include Accounts Receivable - Insurance follow-up via Practice
Management generated Aging Reports, and denials received on a daily
basis.
* With the use of Time Management and Organizational skills, applicant
will be able to meet productivity standards set for position, as well
as contribute to the goals of the department.
* Assist customers, both internally and externally, with billing questions.
Requirements
* Basic understanding of Insurance Contract language
* Basic ICD-9 and CPT Coding knowledge preferred
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Good communication skills - written and verbal
* Proficient knowledge of computer systems, programs and spreadsheet
applications
