Description
Combined Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on pulmonary.The staff RN
is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability
for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care
to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process,
the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary
collaboration.
Requirements Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Associate
Degree, Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree Program. Licensure
/ Certification:
Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in
Tennessee; CPR certification required.
Experience
/ Knowledge:
One year of experience in acute care area is required. Completion
of an approved critical care program and Advance Cardiac Life Support
training are preferred.
