Facilitator, Executive Education, CEB Leadership Academy
The Leadership Academy is a one-year performance accelerator focusing
on developing the skills necessary for mid-level, high-potential individuals
to play a more strategic role in their organizations and increase
their impact on business performance. The Academy provides a unique
learning structure through a combination of classroom sessions, lectures,
group discussions, problem-solving exercises, peer teaching, cross-company
networking and workflow activities that help participants gain the
business and analytical skills needed to become a more effective strategic
business partner within their organizations.
Responsibilities
of the position include:
Teaching business skills to high-performing, high-potential functional
executives from large organizations
Facilitating skill development through interactive classes
Developing new application exercises to reinforce skills and test
learning
Assisting students in understanding and applying concepts in their
business context
Managing intersession activities, including virtual discussion, one-on-one
coaching and content development
Working closely with curriculum design teams to develop new course
material/exercises
Qualifications
The ideal candidate
will possess the following:
Facilitators must be able to call upon extensive knowledge of business
or legal practice to understand research themes, provide examples
of concepts in practice, address participant concerns, and facilitate
effective discussion.
Exceptional facility in prepared and extemporaneous speaking; demonstrated
expertise in executive education, facilitation and discussion management,
with the ability to engage audiences of up to 40 professionals
Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree (MBA, JD or Masters)
strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills and the ability to master new material
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; listening skills
are also critical
Ability to establish personal and professional credibility immediately;
demonstrated poise and grace under pressure
Ability to work independently and within a team
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure
achievement of group goals and service to our members
Willingness to travel up to 60%; multi-day trips are required
