POSITION
DESCRIPTION
Contango Capital
Advisors (CCA)offers wealth-management services to customers of Zions
banks, as well as to other high-net-worth individuals, families, business
owners and managers, trusts and foundations. CCA provides a full array
of investment advisory and asset-management services, including wealth
planning, business transition planning, credit, and institutional-caliber
investment analysis with a focus on "global absolute returns".
Job Description
Provides analysis
in business valuations, private equity and structured investment transactions
and other investment assignments. Analyzes financial information and
builds financial models. Assists in presentations to internal review
committees, clients' senior management and board of directors. Prepares
fairness opinions and other written reports. Works with internal groups
to develop client relationships and identify potential assignments.
Assists with sales and marketing initiatives. Manages the merger and
acquisition due diligence process. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Constructing and
reviewing valuation and other financial models, conducting market
and competitive assessments for the evaluation of M&A targets,
divestitures and investments.
Conducting in-depth company and market financial research supporting
specific engagements.
Preparation of offering memoranda as well as designing and drafting
other client deliverables.
Work with the firm's wealth managers and portfolio investment groups
to cultivate client relationships and deepen the client rapport.
Qualifications
Must have direct
merger and acquisition experience.
Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal
skills (strong relationship-building and analytical horsepower
are key)
