This is your chance
to gain professional experience and training in web development! The
Monterey County Herald is currently interested in hiring an entry-level
web developer to provide support in various implementation projects
including:
Working closely with vendors/developers to integrate and customize templates
and web-based solutions.
Developing new applications and providing enhancements to existing products.
Creating and optimizing dynamic site pages, online ads and email campaigns.
Requirements
We’re looking for a team player who is currently obtaining a computer
related Bachelor’s Degree or who has graduated within the past
6 months. Must have some training and/or related experience in web development
and applying the most current UI, web 2.0 trends and best practices.
Successful candidates will enjoy taking the lead in a fast-paced environment
and working closely with other team members to create dynamic and effective
web solutions for business advertisers. This is a part-time position
requiring 20 hours per week, work hours are generally flexible.
