About Us
* Responsible for planning externally sourced final assemblies along
with emphasis on material cost reductions, on time delivery, and inventory
control
* Uses knowledge of forecast, projected needs, inventory goals and lead
times in procuring specific qualities, quantities, and timely deliveries
of Finished Goods at the lowest total cost.
* Monitors supplier non-conformance performance, identify and drive
process improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective action plan
implementations.
* Manages major Planner assignments with limited supervision.
* Performs all steps in procurement process with extreme accuracy to
avoid economic loss and to maintain targeted Customer Service levels.
* Maintains high ethics in relations between Company and all suppliers
and members of public.
* Identifies process improvements, focuses on defining and streamlining
processes to achieve enhanced efficiency and productivity. Role
Summary/Purpose
* Must have a bachelors degree or high school diploma/GED with at
least 4 years business/manufacturing/sourcing experience.
* Must have at least one year of material planning/purchasing experience.
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent working knowledge of material planning and procurement
procedures.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments according to company
objectives
* Detailed and team oriented
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of Purchasing Law as it applies to the purchasing
function
* Ability to work independently following instructions, standard purchasing
practices, and company policies and procedures
* Must be willing to travel at least 25%
* You must
be willing to accept an annual salary that is not more than $65,000
* You must be willing to work out of an office in Lincolnton, NC
