Be the PowerPoint
expert in a company where presentations are critical to our customer
and prospect communications. As a member of the marketing team, the
Presentation Specialist will develop, design, update and enhance presentations
to be used in our marketing, selling, product demonstrations, and executive
communications. In
additional to strong graphic design skills, candidate must have excellent
business communication skills. The successful candidate will have
the ability to work with the marketing team, sales managers, and executives
to understand key messages and provide creative ideas and concepts
to visually communicate in a clear, compelling way. Candidate must
demonstrate ability to deliver high-quality, professional presentations
on par with top agencies and Fortune 1000 companies.
Responsibilities:
*Create new presentations
from rough slide content and perform content "make-overs"
of existing presentations.
*Work with
business groups to storyboard new presentations and advise on content
structure.
*Maintain
existing presentation assets and advise business groups on content
that meets their needs.
*Develop
PowerPoint design templates and build in-house PPT image library.
*Develop
content templates for business groups that combine customizable slides
with core presentation content.
Requirements
*Strong creative
sense; able to create dynamic visuals and design elements with quick
turnaround
*Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
*Ability to carry a project through to completion and work independently
under tight deadlines
*Team player with ability to take feedback in stride with professionalism
and poise, ability to problem-solve and offer creative alternative
approaches
*Solid understanding of various graphic formats, and ability to design
and prepare graphics for web, PowerPoint, and print.
*Experience creating original illustrations.
*Create conceptual designs to convey key business concepts.
*Strong knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, MS Office, particularly
PowerPoint; proficient on PC platforms
*Experience integrating music and a video into PowerPoint slides,
must have the ability to include animations and transitions into presentations.
*Experience working with various forms of multi-media and developing
other content types such as recorded application demos, HTML, and
Flash movies is a plus.
*BS/BA degree or equivalent, background in design preferred.
*2-5 years of related experience..
