Territory management and planning around all elements
necessary to execute Pre-Sales and follow up consumption activities
to meet or exceed assigned revenue goals for EMC Global Education.
Requirements:
* Technical resource for EMC's pre-sales personnel,
Customer, and Partners.
* Primary focus is on educating EMC Sales and
Consulting Services on Customer Education offerings, value proposition,
and account positioning of these offerings.
* Identifies customer requirements based on
personnel and installed equipment.
* Delivers training plans for customers that
are used to drive sales of offerings.
* Produces Technical Training Plans based on
understanding of Customer Education offerings and customer requirements.
* Provides direct account support and site visits
to Commercial accounts and customers.
* Trains account teams on Customer Education
(CE) value proposition, offerings, and Proven Professional Certification
program, including CE as part of the solution proposals.
* Territory plan and field coordination, support
and coordination with Inside Education Sales teams.
* Maintain coordinated coverage and communication
plan by quarter.
* Develops comprehensive Partner plans with
Channel Managers and Partners (readiness and sell through requirements).
* Provides Monthly Field Communications to EMC
field personnel.
* Forecasts and Tracks CE sales opportunities
within the territory.
* Attends Field Sales events and forums.
Education:
Bachelor's degree and 1 to 4 years experience required.
