Description
This position is responsible for assisting the Shift
Physician and Shift Supervisor in providing quality pediatric patient
care on shift.
Essential Functions:
Direct patient to examination area in a timely, courteous
manner. Inspects all paperwork for completion. Obtains lab specimens,
vital signs, weight and chief complaint from patient. Administer and
monitor care. Discharge/transfer patients.
Requirements :
Two years of pediatric
Medical Assistant experience
CPR certification required
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Must exhibit a professional demeanor
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Good judgment, problem-solving, and organizatonal skills
Ability to attend to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in fast-paced environment.
