Full Job Title: Physician Relations Liaison - FMG

Job Summary:
This job is responsible for serving as a business
development resource for FMG physicians and a liaison between Franciscan
Medical Group and Franciscan Health System (FHS). The job includes
promoting FMG physicians to potential referring physicians, increasing
awareness of FMG and FHS resources and partnering with marketing to
identify and implement tactics to meet volume / profitability goals.
The liaison will work closely with FMG Marketing and leadership to
understand FMG priorities and identify and implement tactics to meet
those priorities. The liaison will also partner with FHS physician
relations to coordinate activities that establish and strengthen relationships
that facilitate achievement of business goals and identifies factors/conditions
that impact physician office/staff satisfaction. This work should
also improve physician retention rates; enhance communications with
physician’s offices and other health care providers and increase
understanding of physician office needs. Work involves substantial
outreach and fieldwork in establishing and strengthening relationships.
An incumbent also coordinates the dissemination of
information about FMG physicians and FHS services to FMG and community
based specialists and primary care physician’s offices/staff
by assisting in the development of targeted information pieces; visiting
physician offices to communicate changes in physicians / services/programs
and to distribute information packets; promoting collaborative relationships
with physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, department heads;
and summarizing/reporting findings from physician office interactions.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration,
healthcare administration, nursing, communications, marketing, public
relations and three years of related progressively responsible work
experience.
An equivalent of qualifying work experience may be
substituted for the education requirement.
License/Certification:
None required.
